Great campground for family. Right on the Ahnapee state trail. Great pool. Quiet area.
Campground is great but I do have one issue... We are camped at the last tent site for a big group. We have two little foot bridges to cross to get the bathrooms which is fine but only a little section is graveled. The rest is either mud or grass. The grass has not been cut and It has been raining so both the grass and mud are slick. The suggestion I would make is to lay gravel the whole way to the bathrooms. I did trip on a small divot right past the first bridge late at night and twisted an ankle. Not fun.
Campsites were very well maintained, owners were friendly, and the restrooms were nice and clean.
Great small campground, quiet, friendly owners. Next to bike/walking trail, pool (closed for season when we came), small playground. Only issue was stinky yucky water-even with a filter on our RV. Just used bottled water.
The nightly rate is reasonable. The facilities are clean and in good repair. A lending library of games and a take one leave one book exchange help make sure your family can find stiff to do even if the weather doesn't cooperate.
