Ross will set you up for failure. He does NOT like his job. I tried everything I know to work with this gentleman because I deal with a wide array of rude people as a Truck Driver.
I'm done with the Algoma DMV.
Ross did not provide the information I needed to get my CDL license with Hazmat switched over from another state. The piece of mail he accepted as proof of residence was NOT accepted at the Green Bay DMV.
Ross D. stated that's how it was and refused to help me any further.
Ross D. is the most unfriendly man you will ever meet. In fact, my experience here was so bad that I gladly took care of business at the Green Bay DMV.
Went in to update vehicle title from Missouri. Missouri titles allow the owner to attach a beneficiary to the title also known as ToD Time of Death. Beneficiaries have no right to ownership. Ross D. said beneficiary required to sign off on Missouri title and my vehicle could not be registered in Wisconsin until this task was completed.
Worst part of my experience was retaking Hazmat test on the computer. There are certain boundaries of courtesy one should never cross and both employees decided to chat LOUDLY as I was testing.
I did some research of my own and then contacted the Green Bay DMV office. I was routed to their research department. They confirmed Wisconsin does NOT require beneficiaries to sign off on current title since they have NO rights to ownership. Research department also confirmed Ross D. should have contacted the research department to confirm, but refuse to do so.

Time was short and I understand it was the end of their day. I was trying my best to make it easy for both employees, yet they chose to treat me like dirt.
I will avoid this DMV like the plague and happily drive down to Green Bay to take care of business.
